Speak English Fluently

Hi there! If you’re looking for information of how to learn to speak English fluently, I want to introduce a new learning technique. There is no secret ingredient. If you want to read well, you need to read a lot. If you want to speak well, you need to listen and speak. This technique is called TPRS (read more at Wikipedia).

First of all teacher reads a little story and then asks you questions. Your job is to answer them. Each lesson is about 30 minutes long. And you speak with your teacher all this time. If you practice listening and answering the questions every day, in time you will answer simple questions automatically and without translation. Later on you must retell the story. This is your practicing of real speaking.

When you can retell those stories easily, you can start practicing your English in the real world with a tutor, who can help you to speak more naturally. And of course you can find conversation partners in learning communities like this community at Facebook, which you can find on the right side.
