Hi there! If you’re looking for information of how to learn to speak English fluently, I want to introduce a new learning technique. There is no secret ingredient. If you want to read well, you need to read a lot. If you want to speak well, you need to listen and speak. This technique is called TPRS (read more at Wikipedia).

First of all teacher reads a little story and then asks you questions. Your job is to answer them. Each lesson is about 30 minutes long. And you speak with your teacher all this time. If you practice listening and answering the questions every day, in time you will answer simple questions automatically and without translation. Later on you must retell the story. This is your practicing of real speaking.

When you can retell those stories easily, you can start practicing your English in the real world with a tutor, who can help you to speak more naturally. And of course you can find conversation partners in learning communities like this community at Facebook, which you can find on the right side.

**I regret not having to get to know you during the English course. I wish that we got to know each other in the beginning of the English course, rather than after the end of this class.

i live in a mostly all white community and im not racist, but maybe because they dont no any to prove the stereotype wrong but racist is wrong no matter what

Thing is I’m just faking an accent. Picked it up while trying to mimic cartoons as a kid.
And I put all my focus on my pronunciation and the accent,
making me not even understand a word I’m saying.

But when i just silent read in english, I perfectly understand what I read. When I hear someone speak it, I get it 100%.

When I try to speak without scripts or stuff like that, I usually stutter and can’t get to the point.
One time we did a class debate, it had to be in english…
My thoughts in were gathered perfectly, if i said this it’d pwn the other team.
But i got nervous, stuttered, failed, didn’t get to say what i wanted…

And when i sometimes read difficult pieces I usually stutter too, and run out of breath like i’m forgetting to breath cuz i said, my attention is all to my accent.

Also, just another thing… When i sing english songs, i’m pretty good at it. My pronunciation doesn’t fail there. if that info helps? xD

So… I wanna be able to speak english as if it were really natural. I understood it. And i could speak my mind without processing the pronunciation part.

Guys, can you give me some sort of exercise that i can do daily or something, that can make me speak it comfortably?
I really want to be able to just speak to people casually in english without feeling akward.
(also i’m reeeally introverted. i find it hard sometimes to speak to people even in my native tongue lol. I’m wierd, ok? XD)

PS. sorry for giving you my life story… haha XD
